Is there a company who manufactures tables with legs of different lengths for pubs?
The local is full of them. Every leg on every table must be of a different length, the they wobble. Or maybe someone saws a bit off for a joke when no one is looking.

How do you solve the problem of the wobbly pub table?

Stick beer mats under the short legs
If the floor is that far off you need three legged tables. They can't wobble. The thing with adjusting the legs as soon as the table is moved a bit, they will still wobble.
It's not the table, it's a sign you've drank too much ; )
Put the tip under the short leg.

It's another great conspiracy theory right up there with the Kennedy assassination, landing on the moon, Germany loosing the war and Mr. Bean is actually a university graduate with a degree in electrical engineering. Well, the last one may be true.
